With an incredible and record breaking performance, the Eagle Rock boys volleyball season has come to an end. The boys maintained an astonishing record of 35-10 and fought hard until the very last point. The team made it to CIF's LA City Section Open Division Finals facing the defending champions, Chatsworth High School. While co-leading the boys to the finals, Co-Captain Tom Altankhuayag broke records by achieving 1000 kills on varsity and is the current holder for the number of kills in one match which is 50. Coach Hancock and Captains Jaiden Abling, Tom Altankhuyag, and Jacob Reyes led the team through five exciting sets, ending the last set with a score of 11-15. Eagle Rock took home the CIF Open Division second place title, and is ready to dominate at the state championships. Congratulations to Eagle Rock boys volleyball, and good luck at state!
