Imagine this if you will. You’re on your way up to class one day and on the wall next to the stairway entrance you see graffiti. You first shrug it off and walk away expecting no more than some random obscenity or vulgar drawing. On your way back downstairs to lunch, you actually stop and see it again only to see “Don't let school stop you” and “Trust yourself”. It’s positive graffiti on the school campus! This unique bit of self-expression has resonated with students. The appearance, especially on our school campus may seem like an anomaly at first, but upon closer inspection, it is a beautiful and thought-provoking addition to the school community. The message of the graffiti encourages resilience and self-confidence in the face of difficulties, especially those faced during school. It speaks to the common experience of struggling through difficult classes, assignments, or tests and finding one's way despite the obstacles.

While some might question the presence of graffiti on school property, the message of this particular graffiti has been well-received by students and faculty alike. The graffiti is not an anti-school message, but rather one of encouragement to do well despite occasional difficulties in school. It also fits in strangely with the simplistic style of the mural already in place, blending with the existing artwork.

The message of the graffiti has been interpreted in many different ways by the students who have seen it. Some feel that it shows how you can still be yourself despite the difficulties you might find at school, while others believe that it encourages putting yourself first and taking care of yourself when things are difficult. Others have expressed surprise that it wasn't there before, saying that it almost feels like it was always a part of the mural. Regardless of the interpretation, however, the message is a positive reminder to always be your best self in the face of challenges.

It is unclear who wrote the graffiti or what their intentions were, but that only adds to the beauty and potential mystery of it. Everyone interprets it differently, but in the end, it's still a positive reminder to push oneself despite the challenges that may arise. The fact that the graffiti has not been taken down yet suggests that it is a small but welcome addition to the school community.

In conclusion, the appearance of positive graffiti on a school campus may seem unusual, but it is a unique addition to our school community. The message of the graffiti encourages resilience and self-confidence in the face of difficulties, especially those faced during school. While its meaning may be open to interpretation, its presence is a reminder to always be your best self in the face of challenges.
