The middle school houses are back! The first middle school house event of the semester was a kickball tournament. Eagle Eyes took the title as winner of the kickball tournament from Grey Wing who won last year.

Eagle Eyes defeated Raptor House 8-1 but it was still a fun game for both of the teams. In 3rd came Green Talons and in last came Grey Wings who still put up a fight.

Over the two days of competition, there was a lot of good sportsmanship and competitiveness that made a great game.

A few of the people on the winning team said that they thought that the championship was going to be more competitive but they ended up scoring a lot more than Raptor House. Energetic, Adrian Freeman, a 7th grader on the Eagle Eyes team, said that what helped them the most was working as a team and helping each other.

Maya Martinez, an 8th grader, said, “Playing with a team full of boys made me want to play better and prove myself and that I could play just as well as anyone else on the team.” If you didn't get to participate in this event, don’t worry! Our next event is a Geography Bee sponsored by the spectacular Ms. Lee!
